This album was released in 1975 by Ocora, a prestigious French folk music label that has produced many masterpieces of field recordings. From the 17th century to the first half of the 20th century, you can hear a variety of local music from the Flanders and Wallonia regions that make up present-day Belgium, including solo chants, children's singing, bagpipe-like sounds, and mysterious instruments that make a strange buzzing sound. There are also many pieces that have an avant-garde feel to them. It is very interesting. Some of the songs have noise, but this is due to the original sound source.

The A side has light bend on the vinyl, but it plays fine.

A8: En als de grote klokke luidt
A9: 't Was op ene Witten Donderlag
