Dada For Now - a Collection of Futurist and Dada Sound Works
ARK (UK) 1985
DOVE 4 (LP) w/insert(some small and slightly spots).
sleeve : EX-(SPSE: 2cm peeling-off on top and side, some very slightly dirts.)
media : EX/EX(some slightly surface noises, some very slightly hairlines that does not affect to sounds.)

This album was released in 1985 on the independent ARK label in Liverpool, England, which released such eccentric works as Naffi, It's Immaterial, and Populat Mechanics between 1982 and 1990. Compiled by Colin Fallows, this album is a compilation of sound work from the Dada/futurism movement of the first half of the 20th century. In addition to Italian Luigi Russolo and his brother Antonio Russolo, who were central figures in the futurist movement, the album also features the music of Hugo Ball, founder of the Zurich Dada movement and club Cabaret Voltaire; Arthur Honegger, Kurt Schwitters, Schwitters, Raoul Hausmann, and Giacomo Balla. You will experience very rare works such as a prototypical performance of voice improvisation and a sound sculpture and noise music run by Luigi Russolo, who played noise instruments. Highly recommended.

B4: Giacomo Balla “Paesaggio + Temporale 1914
