Alga Marghen, a label based in Milan, Italy, compiled all the titles of Revue OU, a magazine with vinyl records published by French avant-garde poet/musician Henri Chopin in the 60s and 70s, and released them on 4 CDs and 6 LPs in 2002. This is one of the analog records in the complete box set. lt includes tracks from the 1974 10-inch "Revue OU No 42-43-44", the 1966 7-inch "Revue OU 26/27", and the 1968 7-inch "OU. Cinquieme saison. Number 33". . Burroughs' "Reading," Ake Hodell's audio poets, Raoul Hausmann and Bernard Heidsieck, the core of the Dada/Fluxus movement, and many other astonishing acoustic poems that sublimate words to another level with their minimalist sound. The picture disc artwork is the coolest thing I've ever seen.
