A compilation album released by Zaire Promotion 2000, a minor label based in Congo and the Ivory Coast, featuring songs by three groups: L'Orchestre Mabatalai, Orchestre Mokito, and Orchestre Kili Kili, all apparently led by a man named L.M. Kiland. I think it's the guy in the picture on the cover, but I don't know the details. Anyway, the band is playing like crazy. No horns, just drums, bass, guitars, and synthesizers. The drums shuffle around in a very minimalistic way, and the electric guitars and weird sounding synthesizers play fast arpeggios with deep echoes. It's a special kind of soukous. Too much fun. Highly recommended.
