This is the second album released in 1978 by Valerie Carter, an American singer/songwriter who attracted attention with her backing vocals for James Taylor. Compared to her first album, the country/folk flavor of this album has been toned down, and her style has evolved into a light soul/R&B style. The bluesy, laid-back sound and Valerie's beautiful, slightly withered voice make for a mellow A2, and the Balearic ballad B5 has a moist, urban mellowness. She has a very attractive voice.
A2: Da Doo Rendevous
B5: Wild Child
