The first solo album and only analog work by Vera Figueiredo, drummer of the Brazilian fimeir fusion group Kali, released in 1990, featuring Hermeto Pascoal and introducing digital synthesizers such as Yamaha DX-7. The album features mainly Brazilian fusion and urban jazz with an exhilarating and fast-paced original score, as well as music by Stevie Wonder, Luiz Gonzaga, and Hermeto. Of particular note is A5, a cover of Ryuichi Sakamoto's theme song from "Merry Christmas at the Battlefield," a very interesting interpretation unique to Brazil with its delicate synthesizer melody dancing gently.
