Ciclo 3 (Argentina) 1985
C3-024 (LP)
sleeve : VG+(SRW, wear on corner, light color-faded, light dirts)
media : VG+/VG+(some light surface noise and pop noise caused by slightly hairlines)

Released in 1985, this trio album brings together three outstanding Argentine musicians: keyboardist Lito Vitale, a central member of the progressive rock band MIA who also produced numerous masterpieces as a solo artist; saxophonist Bernardo Baraj, known for his collaborations with Litto Nebbia; and Lucho González, acclaimed as one of Argentina’s finest guitarists, who performed with groups including Tabriente and also appeared on recordings by Carlos Aguirre. Among the highlights are A2, where crystalline electric piano and synthesizer tones dissolve into a deeply melancholic atmosphere, and B2, where an emotional saxophone intertwines with finely articulated, rhythmically strummed piano accompaniment. Rooted in classical motifs yet imbued with an adult, moody atmosphere that evokes the mystical scenery of the port city of Buenos Aires, this is one of the great masterpieces of Argentine contemporary jazz.

A1: Cueca del reloj
A2: Zamba del puente
B2: Rio de Rosas
