Published in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION". This is the original soundtrack album for the movie "April Fish", directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi, who sadly passed away the other day, and starring Yukihiro Takahashi. It was released from Yen Records, which is run by Yukihiro Takahashi together with Haruomi Hosono. The music varies from instrumental pop with Yukihiro's sense of esprit de corps, to Ryoichi Hattori-style music with a retro atmosphere, and even Erik Satie-style ambient tracks, but the sound is so unified as one album that it is hard to believe it is a soundtrack. All of the songs are excellent, but the best one is A1, a beautiful synth-pop song co-written with Pierre Barough, with its uplifting and euphoric emotional development. This is a sample edition with a poster for the first time.

A1: 四月の魚
A2: マリのテーマ
B4: 不二子のテーマ
