This album, released in 1980 by the group Anima, is led by keyboardist Kenneth Knudsen, who is highlighted in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION" for his 1985 masterpiece "Knudsen Variations." The group also features Mikkel Nordso and Ole Theill. The album showcases a high-energy fusion of progressive jazz rock with aggressive compositions and extensive use of synthesizers to create an electronic sound. Knudsen's cosmic synthesizer work is particularly distinctive. A3, with its slow-motion jazz groove set to a reggae beat, is especially enjoyable. Highly recommended.
