This is a 1986 duo album by German guitarist Uli Harmssen and saxophonist Jochen Voss. Backed by the clear pad sounds of the renowned PPG Wave 2.2 Synthesizer, favored by European jazz pianists like Jasper Van’t Hof, and the fresh tones of the acoustic guitar, the album features a collection of melancholic and transparent New Age jazz tracks. Tracks like A1 showcase the soprano saxophone's expansive tones playing poignant melodies against the backdrop of the synthesizer and guitar. B4, on the other hand, presents a beautiful contrast between the soft tones of the synthesizer and the lustrous sound of the soprano saxophone, creating an elegant electric jazz atmosphere. This album is highly recommended for its melancholic worldview and soothing sound.
