An album released in 1985 by American guitarist Bill Connors, renowned for his outstanding work on Paul Bley’s Improvising Artists Inc. label as well as ECM. This trio recording features Tom Kennedy on bass—also known for his work with Freddie Hubbard—and Dave Weckl on drums, a key participant in numerous Chick Corea projects. Marking Connors’s first move away from ECM toward a more technical jazz-rock/fusion style, the album showcases the sharply edged, progressive guitar work characteristic of this period, in the same vein as his later releases Double Up and Assembler.
