Dutch jazz-rock group Focus, featuring Jan Akkerman (g) and Thys Van Leer (keys, fl), who would go on to play solo for many years, and Bert Ruiter (b, vo), David Kemper (ds) and Collin Allan (ds). This album was released in 1975. The psychedelic taste of the group's early years was overshadowed by the tight rhythm section and the glossy sound of synthesisers and electric piano, creating a liberating crossover jazz-rock style that was widely received worldwide. Pleasant listening. The mellow-groove fusion number A4 is particularly recommended.
