The album, released in 1981, features four American artists who were active in the crossover/fusion movement of the 1970s: John Lee (b, p) and Gerry Brown (ds), Larry Levan who produced 'Padlock' in 1985 featuring Sly & Robbie and Wally Badarou, Darryl Thompson who also participated in 'Padlock,' and Eef Albers (g) who was also active in groups like Kraan and Focus. The album showcases jazz-rock throughout, with a funky rhythm section and cutting-edge electric guitar solos. The melancholic minor chord number B1 is also superb.
