An album released in 1988 in a limited edition of 500 copies by four German musicians: Frank Kirchner (tenor and soprano sax), Michael Weiss (keys), Thomas Giesler (bass), and Rolf Drese (drums). Although all members seem to be minor local musicians without notable public activity histories, their compositions and arrangements show significant influence from the numerous masterpieces that Pat Metheny left on ECM in the '80s under the group name. The lineup and performances also reveal a deep admiration for the Pat Metheny Group. Released under Nabel's sub-label Drop, the album features excellent sound production with a fresh, spacious quality characteristic of German music. Among the many Pat Metheny followers, this group stands out as exceptionally obscure. Outer sleeve has a serial number and signature, and the silk-screen printed artwork on the outer sleeve is unique for all 500 copies.
