This is a masterpiece album released in 1979 by the Swedish jazz-rock group Kornet, led by pianist Stefan Nilsson. Recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark, the album features Palle Mikkerlborg on trumpet. Tracks like A1 showcase a vibrant sense of exhilaration with the transparent tones of the vibraphone rolling through, reminiscent of Pierre Moelren's Gong, presenting a blend of technical jazz-rock and contemporary jazz. Particularly noteworthy is the serene atmosphere of track B2, like gazing upon a sunset sinking into the tranquility of the Baltic realm, evoked by the artwork on the jacket. This meditative, deep ethnic jazz piece is truly remarkable.
