A obscure one has arrived. This is the only album left by Tzahara, an ultra-minor group of musicians from the rural town of Oyten in northern Germany, released in 1983. Being a local group, their music is a technical crossover mix of jazz rock, avant-garde jazz, contemporary jazz, progressive rock, and fusion in a chaotic blend. However, it features wonderfully sophisticated sound production and elegant arrangements, including the refreshing contemporary fusion track A2 and the spiritually evolving B1, which shifts tempo after a gently floating beginning. A hidden gem. Recommended.
A2: Orange Sundown
B1: etc.
