This was featured in the first and second editions of the guide book "Obscure Sound". This is masterpiece album released on ECM in 1981 by the ironclad lineup of Pat Metheny (g), his ally Lyle Mays (p), and Nana Vasconcelos (per). The title track is a real trip jazz piece with an organic introduction created by cool sounding percussions and a unique sound of autoharp, followed by minimalistic percussion beats and spacy synthesizer sounds that gradually change their expressions to put the listener in a trance. This is a musical journey, and a great one at that. B2, where guitar and piano alternately create a lyrical world, and B3, where Metheny's style is in full swing, are also great. The addition of Nana adds such a primitive feeling to this track that it is truly a different dimension.
