Japanese jazz singer Eri Ohno, who started her career as a university student in the mid 1970's at live houses in the Kansai area, and made her debut in 1979 with the album "Touch in My Mind" and has been active ever since. This third album was released on Better Days in 1980, produced by Toshiyuki Daitoku. Daitoku (el-p,p), Yasuaki Shimizu (ts), Kiyoshi Sugimoto (g), Tatsuji Yokoyama (dr) and many other musicians who had participated in the previous albums. The album features covers of soul and jazz classics such as Stevie Wonder's "I Can't Help It" A2 as well as original compositions. A special mention must go to A4, a pensive and mellow cover of one of the songs from Herbie Hancok's 1979 album "Feets Don't Fail Me Now", with a reggae rhythm. The opening track A1, composed by Daitoku, is also excellent.
A2: I Can’t Help It
A4: Trust Me
