This album, released in 1974, is by Gour Goswami, a disciple of the great bansuri player Pannalal Ghosh in Hindustani music, and a performer who has earned worldwide recognition for his outstanding musicianship. The album features Manick Das (tabla) and Gautam Goswami (tambura). Side A contains an extended raga, nearly 22 minutes long, while side B includes performances of Bangladeshi folk songs, West Bengali folk songs, Rajasthani folk songs, and an Indian lullaby. Accompanied by the gentle drone of the tambura and the crisp beats of the tabla, the soothing, floating melodies of the bansuri create a very pleasant listening experience.
