Leader album released in 1981 by jazz pianist Himiko Kikuchi, who was active in the late 1970s with Junko Ohashi's group Minoya Central Station and Toshinori Miki's Inner Galaxy Orchestra. The album was recorded at Chick Corea's studio in Los Angeles and features Ernie Watts (ts, ss, synth), John Robinson (dr), Al Vizzutti (tp), Steve Forman (per), Masatsugu Matsumoto (g ), Kazuya Sugimoto (b), and others. The main focus is on groovy fusion with a bright touch, and the powerful brass reminiscent of Tower of Power with a West Coast flavor is impressive. I recommend it.
