This is a live recording album by the Dutch jazz pianist Jasper Van't Hof, known for creating numerous masterpieces spanning a wide range of styles, from abstract jazz groups like Association P.C. to his deep immersion in ethnic music with projects like Pili Pili. In this album, recorded during his performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1979 with the quartet featuring Alphonse Mouzon, Miroslav Vitous, and Bob Malach, Van't Hof showcases his virtuosity. Van’t Hof employ the distinctive PPC Wave synthesizer to create a galactic electronic sound that is truly a masterpiece. The music is filled with tension and features mesmerizing interplay. In the composition "A1" by Miloslav Vitous, the intensity immediately takes off right from the introduction. The escalating piano performance in the latter part of "B1" with its tremendous tension is also outstanding.

A1: U.F.O.
B1: Scramble
