Album released in 1983 by American multi-instrumentalist Ned Rothenberg, who plays clarinet, flute and shakuhachi and has performed with Masahiko Sato and Even Parker. Three of the four tracks on the album are solos for alto saxophone, bass clarinet and soprano double ocarina respectively. Only B2 features a duo with percussion by Gerry Hemingway. All the pieces are interesting, with their oriental scales creating a mysterious sound world, but B1, with its exotic ocarina melodies and B2, with its steel drums and Hemingway's percussion, is the most highly recommended.
