This album was released in 1984 by Open Art Band, a German jazz group led by guitarist/composer Klaus Obermaier. The quartet consists of drums/percussion, fretless electric bass, guitar, and alto saxophone. The album features a Latin crossover (A1) with alto sax and clear guitar intertwined with a speedy rhythm section with effective percussion, and a Brazilian fusion (B3) with a wonderfully fast bass solo by Blake. This is a nice album with a pleasant airy and transparent sound. (Chee)
