This album was released in 1983 by Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, one of the leading santoor players in North Indian classical Hindustani music, who has been active since the 1960s and has released over 100 works. A duo with tabla player Shafaat Ahmed Khan performing Santur with classical melodies. This is very comfortable, with the fine grained melody of the santur and the light beat of the tabla inviting you to find peace. Both sides contain one long track each, so you can enjoy it carefully. Also great for meditation.
