This album was released in 1984 by Orissa, a group formed by jazz trombone player Shigeharu Mukai, who is still active today. Getao Takahashi, Ryojiro Furusawa and others participated. The album features a vibrant Afro-Brazilian sound, a gently swaying Caribbean groove, and a high-speed cosmic fusion, sublimating various ethnic sentiments from Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Asian countries. The album is a masterpiece of primitive and tropical crossover/fusion. I recommend the whole album.
