This original soundtrack album for Juzo Itami's film "A Taxing Woman" features music by Japanese saxophonist Toshiyuki Honda, who has been active in Japan's jazz/fusion scene since the 1970s. His 1980 release "Easy Breathing" was also featured in the guidebook "Obscure Sound: 640 Enchanting Records." The album includes the iconic theme song A1, known for its memorable main phrase, as well as adult and moody tracks that capture the atmosphere of the urban night, and a hard-boiled version of the main theme. The album is a true masterpiece with consistently high-quality music throughout. This is a Japanese reissue released in 2022.
