Wheather Report is the group led by Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter, both of whom were trained in Miles Davis' group, along with Alphonso Johnson, Dom Um Romao, Ishmael Wilburn, and Miroslav Vitous, all of whom are technicians, This album was released in 1974. The group's use of synthesizers by Zawinul and the electric bass by Vitous further electrified the sound, giving it a cosmic, stateless, crossover feel that was never heard before. A3 and the title track, B1, are jazz funk that inherits from Electric Miles. 1981’s Japanese reissue.
