This is a 12-inch single released in 1983 by Japanese singer Yumi Murata, who participated in the works of the Mariah Project, a group formed by Yasuaki Shimizu in the late 1970s to early 1980s. The A-side track, 'Pigtail' is an unreleased song found only on this 12-inch release. The B-side, ‘Kanpu’ is a special version where, except for the chorus, the lyrics are in English, unlike the version included in the album 'Drywindasian' released the same year. Although uncredited, it's believed to feature performances by Mariah's Masanori Sasaji, Takayuki Hijikata, Akira Okazawa, and Yuichi Togashiki, showcasing a very tight and edgy groove, much like the aforementioned album.
